Overview
AVAILABLE ONLY TO STUDENTS WHO ARE ALREADY MEMBERS IN MFCNS
Meinig Scholars have access to up to $3,500 to use for an internship and/or a leadership-related experience as long as they are full-time enrolled undergraduates at Cornell and in good standing with the MFCNS program. Students may apply for funding to support leadership-related experiences over winter, spring or summer break. Students are eligible to apply for funding to support internships during the summer only. Note that leadership-related means typically giving of your time (volunteering) to make an impact on a group or organization.
The full $3500 can only be used for short-term experiences. Otherwise, funding is pro-rated based on length of experience. The support account will cover reasonable living expenses, such as housing, utilities, transportation, food, immunizations, visas, etc.
You will only be able to fill out one application per term; term dates are listed on the right. Applications should be completed once you have secured your position/opportunity.
This application should be used primarily for leadership-related experiences happening during Winter or Spring Break, or for any leadership–specific conferences.
