Eligibility Requirements

To fulfill the E3 Learning Milestone, the experience must:

  • Involve the practical application of knowledge in a real-world setting.
  • Include clearly defined learning outcomes established before the experience begins.
  • Incorporate discussion of learning goals with the faculty supervisor prior to the start of the experience.
  • Include a reflection activity or assignment that allows students to demonstrate their learning and achievement of E3 outcomes.

  • Experience start and end dates
  • Course information (for Learning Assistantships)
  • Research project description (for Research experiences)
  • Responsibilities and expected activities
  • Personal goals for the experience
  • Additional learning outcomes, if applicable
  • A reflection plan developed with the supervisor, including how learning outcomes and goals will be assessed
