E3 Learning Outcomes

Upon completing an E3-eligible research or learning assistantship, students should be able to:

• Connect disciplinary and scholarly learning with the practical application of that knowledge.
• Explain how the experience contributes to and supports their learning goals at Cornell.
• Describe how they engaged with, contributed to, or served a community or cause greater than themselves.

After submission, the faculty supervisor will review the application and determine whether to approve the experience. Once approved, the student will receive an enrollment code to enroll in the appropriate E3 section. Reminder emails will be sent to both the student and supervisor approximately two weeks before the experience end date.
