College/School Eligibility:

  • Agriculture and Life Sciences
  • Architecture, Art and Planning
  • Arts and Sciences
  • Engineering
  • Human Ecology
  • Industrial and Labor Relations
  • SC Johnson Business - Dyson

Class Year Eligibility:

  • Fourth Year + (undergrad)

Open to:

  • Cornell Graduate/Professional Students

Applicants must have an excellent academic record and demonstrate leadership and openness to other cultures. Citizens of all countries are eligible. Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age. English proficiency test scores must be submitted if English is not the applicant’s native language. 

In addition to the application itself, applicants are required to submit the following:

  • Resume
  • College transcript(s)
  • Two essays (1. statement of purpose and leadership--up to 750 words and 2. a current affairs essay--up to 500 words)
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Video (optional)    

NOTE:  As of this 2018-2019 application year, institutional endorsement is no longer required.
