Requirements:
- ILR undergraduate who is currently enrolled or has completed Labor Relations. Freshmen are not eligible.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 at the time of the program. Note that ILR will confirm your GPA after the fall 2024 semester to ensure eligibility.
- Good standing with the ILR School and the University (no pending Judicial Administrative violations, or issues in an other ILR-managed program).
- Registered in ILR for the spring 2025 semester.
- Must participate in the pre-departure (fall 2024) orientation and post-experience (spring 2025) course. Details will be share after the students are admitted into the program.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will demonstrate cross-cultural skills, flexibility, adaptability and maturity. Student must be open-minded, respectful, and willing to adjust to the cultural norms of Vietnam including local food, conservative attire, and respect for group members and leaders, guests, administrators on and off the TDTU campus. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in the region and labor relations/HR, conflict resolution/negotiations, and/or research, through their courses or activities, or have a related internship experience. The applicant should have excellent written and oral communication skills, a service-orientation, maturity, and experience working on teams. Completion of or currently enrollment in Labor Relations ILRLR 2050 is REQUIRED.
Note that visiting Exchange Students are not eligible for this program.
