Students must petition their college for the transfer of credit.  For language courses taken abroad, students must take a placement exam at Cornell if they want to place in a higher level.  HISS language courses do not cover a full semester's worth of Korean language, but the classes and activities are well loved by students for jump starting their knowledge and excitement of Korean culture.
