GPA Requirements:

Minimum GPA: 3.00

Eligibility:

To apply, you must be:

  • A rising sophomore, junior, or senior at Cornell.
  • In good standing academically with a cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum and have no unresolved disciplinary charges or sanctions.
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the time of the internship.

Requirements:

You must be able to commit to working full-time for the duration of the internship, and you may not hold another full-time job. 

Successful applicants will be able to articulate which project is an ideal fit for their skillset, have an interest in Africa, and experience in the field that they have chosen. You will work independently and with others, so adaptability to a new environment is important. 

Selected interns must participate fully in predeparture sessions, reflection exercises during the internship, and present at the Global Cornell Experience Showcase.
