Eligibility:

To apply, you must be:

  • A rising sophomore, junior, or senior at Cornell.
  • In good standing academically with a cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum and have no unresolved disciplinary charges or sanctions.
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the time of the internship.

Requirements:

You must be able to commit to working full-time for the duration of the internship, and you may not hold another full-time job. 

Selected interns must participate fully in predeparture sessions, reflection exercises during the internship, and present at the Global Cornell Experience Showcase. 

Preferred candidates should have coursework on Southeast Asian Studies and an experience and interest in research, writing, and library work. Students should be eager to gain working experience in an NGO and multicultural working environment. Candidates should be open-minded, creative, and willing to learn more. The ability to read and write Khmer is an additional asset.
