What is unique about this program?

Adjacent to the Swan River, the Perth campus is among the most picturesque in Australia with iconic sandstone buildings sitting among heritage-listed gardens. It's just 10 minutes from Perth’s main shopping and business district and close to many of the city’s stunning beaches.

On campus, you’ll have an array of essential amenities to enjoy, including cafés, libraries, bookshops, a vibrant cultural precinct and tonnes of clubs and societies to join and experience student life to its fullest. The supportive Student Guild means you can try your hand at volunteering, get independent advice on a range of matters or attend one of the many varied events on and off campus.

As a research-intensive university, UWA is a part of the Group of Eight (a coalition of top research universities in the country) and one of only two Australian members of the Worldwide Universities Network.  Top ranked subject areas include: Earth and Marine Sciences, Agriculture and Forestry, Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, Performing Arts, Mineral and Mining Engineering, and Civil and Structural Engineering.

How do I apply?

Applying to study abroad is a two-step process. You may complete both steps simultaneously, but the Cornell approval process must be complete before your program advisor in the Office of Global Learning can submit any approval or nomination to the program.

  1. For Cornell Approval, click on the "Apply" button on this webpage. Applications are approved by the Office of Global Learning on a rolling basis until the application deadline listed on this page.
  2. For Program Admission, complete an external application directly on the program’s webpage, using the link in the “Snapshot” section. (Note: This deadline may be in advance of the general Cornell deadline for approval. Many programs fill by rolling admission.
