Overview
The SEAP Summer Dissertation Write-Up Grants are offered through the Southeast Asia Program, part of the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies.
SEAP provides a limited number of summer grants to qualified PhD graduate students in SEAP who are in the final write-up stages of their dissertations.
The award is only granted once. Criteria for selection includes a substantive focus on Southeast Asia, having a core SEAP faculty member on one's committee, and a demonstrated commitment to the SEAP community.

How to Apply
Send a written e-mail request to both the SEAP director (seap_director@einaudi.cornell.edu) and associate director, Thamora Fishel (tfishel@cornell.edu). A separate letter of recommendation from the student's graduate committee chair should be submitted concurrently, stipulating the student's progress toward completion of studies and successful write-up over the summer.
