Requirements
Open to:
- Cornell Undergraduate Students
Applicants must be current Division of Nutritional Sciences undergraduate majors (GPHS, HBHS, or NS) in the College of Human Ecology. Applicants must be rising sophomores or juniors (with anticipated graduation dates between May 2026 and May 2027). Stipends will be awarded to support selected students as they work with a Cornell faculty member over the summer.
Required qualifications:
- Undergraduate rising sophomore or junior in good academic standing at time of application
- Division of Nutritional Sciences major (GPHS, HBHS, NS) in the College of Human Ecology
- Participating in supervised research experience with a Cornell faculty member
- Research experience must be at least 4 weeks long and 25 hours per week (totaling at least 100 hours for the summer)

Selection based on:
- Research experience details
- Potential impact of research experience on student’s academic or career goals
- Financial need for funding over the summer
