GPA Requirements:

Minimum GPA: 3.20

Requirements

  • 3.2 GPA and the successful completion of Labor and Employment Law prior to departure.
  • Key qualities and skills: Independence, maturity, demonstrated professional experience in an internship, summer or campus job is required, service-mindedness, flexibility & adaptability, cultural sensitivity, excellent research and writing skills, ability to work in teams, prior international experience a plus but not required.
  • Seniors may apply as long as they are returning in the fall.
  • Students must be able to successfully navigate work and life in Zambia independently.  This experience is not for everyone.
  • ILR students must be on-campus in the spring semester, prior to the summer experience, to attend mandatory  pre-departure meetings.
