  • Fourth Year + (undergrad)

Open to:

  • Cornell Undergraduate Students

Students must be returning students in Fall 2025.

  • Strong writing, research, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using research tools, software, and equipment (as applicable to the field) 
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a research environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
  • Commitment to ethical research practices and compliance with research protocols 
  • Passion for research and a desire to contribute to the development of a new nonprofit with a social mission
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Other relevant skills: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience with GIS or research software 
  • Experience with using publicly available datasets 
  • Ability to translate and distill complex topics for varied audience using both written and visual communication
