Strong writing, research, and communication skills

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Proficiency in using research tools, software, and equipment (as applicable to the field)

Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a research environment

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges

Commitment to ethical research practices and compliance with research protocols

Passion for research and a desire to contribute to the development of a new nonprofit with a social mission

Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 

Experience with GIS or research software 

Experience with using publicly available datasets 

Ability to translate and distill complex topics for varied audience using both written and visual communication
