Opportunity Description

Host organization: I-Communitas - Institute for Advanced Social Research, Public University of Navarra

Location: Pamplona, Navarra, Spain

I-Communitas is a research institute at the Public University of Navarre in Pamplona, Spain, focused on multidisciplinary research in the social sciences. As a research intern, you'll work closely with others on a variety of activities and projects. These may include:

  • Participating in a research-action project on collaborative governance
  • Applying the methodology of "xenometer" developed at Cornell to the Spanish context
  • Editing and translating academic documents
  • A combination of social research, technology, and language skills

Basic Spanish would be an additional asset.

Funding

All Global Interns receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of the stipend may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
