Host organization: I-Communitas - Institute for Advanced Social Research, Public University of Navarra
Location: Pamplona, Navarra, Spain
I-Communitas is a research institute at the Public University of Navarre in Pamplona, Spain, focused on multidisciplinary research in the social sciences. As a research intern, you'll work closely with others on a variety of activities and projects. These may include:
- Participating in a research-action project on collaborative governance
- Applying the "xenometer" methodology in a Spanish context
- Editing and translating academic documents
- Examining the use of artificial intelligence for social analysis
- Analyzing comparative jurisprudence and participating in field work for reports on business and human rights issues.
Basic Spanish would be an additional asset.
Funding
All Global Interns receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of the stipend may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
