National University of Singapore (NUS) is a Cornell Global Hubs partner that offers a global approach to education and research. Founded in 1905, it is the oldest established institution of higher education in Singapore.
As an intern, you will participate in the eight-week Summer Engineering Research Internship for U.S. Students (SERIUS) program in NUS's College of Design and Engineering. Interns are placed in internships within the college's departments and centers, including the following:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
- Civil and Electrical Engineering
- Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Engineering Design and Innovation Center
- Mechanical Engineering

Funding
You will receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of the stipend may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
