Opportunity Description

Host Organization: VinUniversity (VinUni)
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

VinUniversity is the first private, not-for-profit university in Vietnam and is a Cornell partner. In 2024, VinUni was the newest university in the world to achieve the QS 5-star ranking.

As an intern at VinUni, you will either work on a research project under the supervision of a VinUni faculty member or intern with VinAI, one of the world's top twenty artificial intelligence (AI) research-based companies. In your application, reference your top three research project choices or your preferred internship as part of your statement of interest.

Computer Science & Engineering Research

One option for Global Interns at VinUni is to work with a VinUni faculty member on a research project in the fields of computer science and engineering.

AI Internships

The second option for VinUni Global Interns is to work with VinAI, one of the world's top twenty artificial intelligence (AI) research-based companies, which seeks to make AI accessible to everyone. Available internships include software engineering, AI engineering, Android engineering, and technical business analysts. Funding 

You will receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of this award may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
