University of Sydney (USYD) is a Cornell Global Hubs partner and the oldest university in Australia, educating Australia’s political, economic, and scientific leadership.
If you have an interest in living and working in Sydney, Australia, this internship is for you! Open to students across majors and interests, we will match successful applicants with research projects or organizational partners based on their interests and experiences.
Opportunities are open to all Cornell undergraduate students, but may be of particular interest to those focused on business, environmental sustainability, communications and public relations, tech, data analysis, marketing, engineering, non-governmental organizations, and university research.
Previous Cornell students have interned with the Sustainable Future Group, research projects at the University of Sydney, Way to Blue, U.S Studies Centre, Greenpeace, Livelo, Level Beverages, and Property Council of Australia.
Funding
You will receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of this award may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
