Host organization: Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE)
Location: Godollo, Hungary
MATE is one of the largest agriculture-focused, multi-disciplinary, higher education institutions in Europe.
As an intern, you'll be involved in the daily care of the fish broodstock, maintenance of cell cultures, attendance of classes given by the faculty supervisor, participation in experiments on cell culture, transplantation, and cryopreservation.
All Global Interns receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of the stipend may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
