The Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship is an external fellowship administered by the Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fund that awards tuition costs plus an annual stipend to doctoral students in any recognized field in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences. The award requires a nomination from the Graduate School.

Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowships are available to students who currently pursuing a graduate degree at a designated institution of higher learning located in the United States of America. Applicants may apply to the fellowship at the same time that they are applying for graduate school or after they are already enrolled in graduate school. The amount of each fellowship will cover actual tuition costs plus an annual stipend to be allocated towards room, board, and ordinary living expenses, as well as any income taxes thereon.

Fellowships are awarded annually and may not be deferred. Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellows must apply for renewals of their fellowships by the end of March of the following year in accordance with the terms in effect at the time the fellowship is awarded. Fellowships will be limited to a maximum of three years.
