Cost

As a summer 2025 participant, you are billed Cornell summer tuition.

If accepted, in order to commit to the program you will be required to pay a nonrefundable deposit in the amount of $500 within seven days. This non-refundable deposit represents a set portion of the program fee. The balance of your program fee will be billed by the Office of Global Learning and due in full for summer programs by April 1. Summer tuition will be due in May ahead of your summer travels.

You will directly pay additional costs either prior to arrival or on-site. These may include visa, round-trip airfare, meals, books, and other personal expenses.

This program is eligible for funding from a variety of sources. Pay close attention to eligibility criteria and deadlines as many applications are due well ahead of the experience. As well, funding decisions can take several weeks, and students should plan ahead to ensure they can still follow the payment schedule required by the program.

Financial Aid

Visiting students: Cornell University does not offer financial aid for visiting students on summer study abroad programs. We encourage you to contact your home school to discuss your options, including federal or private student loans.
