Cost

In order to enroll in this course, you will be required to pay a program fee at the time that you commit to your program. The program fee serves as deposit and is non-refundable. The program fee typically covers housing and program activities.

Budget Breakdown

The Office of Global Learning provides the below estimated budget so you can understand the costs of your program and how they will be paid. The estimated budget indicates which study abroad costs are billable through Cornell or out of pocket.

Charges that you will pay directly to the Office of Global Learning but will not appear on your bursar bill:

  • Program Fee Deposit: Non-refundable fee that goes towards housing and program activities.

Charges that will appear on your bursar bill:

  • Program Fee Remainder
  • Spring Tuition

Estimated additional costs paid directly by the student, such as: 

  • Estimated additional costs will be outline once program fee is confirmed. Students should expect to pay for round trip airfare to and from the location.

National Scholarships

This program is eligible for funding from a variety of sources. Pay close attention to eligibility criteria and deadlines as many applications are due well ahead of the experience. As well, funding decisions can take several weeks, and students should plan ahead to ensure they can still follow the payment schedule required by the program.
