  • obtained approval of the proposed internship from the program director

Grade-Point Average and Course Requirements

Generally, you must maintain a cumulative grade-point average above 2.7 to gain approval to participate in the program. In addition, we usually require that eligible students have no more than one core ILR course requirement left to complete prior to undertaking an internship. Certain core requirements are mandatory.  See the program director for additional details.

Application and Approval

You must apply and be approved for participation in the program by the program director before a specific internship assignment has been arranged. Once approved, students may move to the second step of the application process, which includes submitting a resume and cover letters for specific internships.  The program director will provide more information.
