Overview
The Graduate School awards a small number of grants of up to $2,500 for academic-year, research-related travel in the United States and abroad. These grants are for travel that is directly related to dissertation research, not conference travel. Recipients must be enrolled in a graduate research (M.A./M.S., M.F.A., D.M.A., J.S.D., or Ph.D.) degree program through the Graduate School and be registered at the time of the award. All research degree students are encouraged to apply. Priority is given to those who have not previously received this award and who have completed their A exams by the date of travel. Applications are accepted once in the fall semester and twice in the spring semester each year.
