Opportunity Description
This two-credit, service-learning course is an opportunity for a multi-disciplinary team of students to spend a week in January at an elementary school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The school is taking a bold approach to boost low student test scores by integrating project-based learning and the arts into its curriculum.
Students will provide assistance to classroom teachers and aides and work with children on project-based learning initiatives.
