Cornell undergraduate and graduate students in any major or graduate field are eligible to apply. To align with Campus Compact's selection criteria, preference is given to undergraduate students.

This yearlong program supports current students. Nominees must be enrolled at Cornell for the spring 2020 semester and must be enrolled in a higher education institution (Cornell or other) during the 2020-21 academic year.

The selected nominee will be expected to represent Cornell, be available for media interviews and stories, and fully participate in the Newman Civic Fellows program, including attending convenings.
