Minimum GPA: 3.20

Requirements

3.2 GPA and the successful completion of Labor and Employment Law by the end of spring 2024.   Key qualities and skills: Independence, maturity, demonstrated professional experience in an internship, summer or campus job is required, service-mindedness, flexibility & adaptability, cultural sensitivity, excellent research and writing skills, ability to work in teams, prior international experience a plus but not required.  Seniors returning to ILR in Fall 2025 are eligible.

Students must be able to successfully navigate work and life in Zambia independently.  This experience is not for everyone. 

ILR students must be on-campus in the spring semester, prior to the summer experience, to attend mandatory  pre-departure meetings.
