Overview

Opportunity Description

“Current Trends and Organizational Practices in Employment Laws, Employee Relations and Internal Investigations”

The Summer Research Fellows will have the opportunity to engage in independent research under the guidance of the Extension Faculty member, Susan W. Brecher, who manages and facilitates education and training workshops on employment laws, employee relations and internal investigations. The Research Fellows will focus on reviewing and updating information related to evolving legal, employee relations, and facilitating conflict practices in the workplace. The goal of this internship is to identify current trends, organizational policies and best practices to facilitate the infusion of research with real world applications for inclusion in the workshops and presentations. To learn more about this program you can review the website page: https://www.ilr.cornell.edu/programs/professional-education/certificates/advanced-employee-relations-and-investigations.

This is a full-time fellowship of approximately 8-10 weeks beginning in early June.  The expectation is that the intern will be in-person in NYC.  A virtual experience may be available at the request of the student.
