Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is a Cornell Global Hubs partner and leading international research university dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge in science, engineering, business, humanities, and social science.
As an intern at HKUST, you will participate in the International Summer Undergraduate Inbound Research Program, working on a research project under the mentorship of a supervisor for eight weeks during the summer. In addition to the research, you'll be immersed in Hong Kong through orientation and cultural activities.
Participating students may conduct research in the following HKUST research areas:

- Environment and Sustainability

- Humanities
- Integrative Systems and Design

Funding
You will receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of this award may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
