Opportunity Description

Host organization: Fundación Futuro Familia, Inclusión, y Desarollo (FUFFID)

Location: Ibarra, Ecuador

Fundación Futuro works to help vulnerable populations with projects that support them in breaking the cycle of poverty and changing their vulnerable status. It works on participatory community development, solidarity economics, fair trade, with migrants, and as well as caring for the environment and climate change. We work to eliminate poverty and discrimination based on gender, race, nationality, disability.

As an intern, you'll collect information from adults over 60 who have previously received financial education training from FUFFID. Conducted in person, these interviews will gather information about the training's content and satisfaction about the training overall.

You'll learn how to conduct interviews, create a report of the results, and turn results into content for FUFFID's social media platforms.

Funding

All Global Interns receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of the stipend may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
