Opportunity Description

Host Organization: Pa' Arriba Foundation

Location: Virtual 

Pa' Arriba Foundation identifies and implements innovative prevention and treatment methodologies, community-based support interventions, and networked solutions that reduce violence in home, school, and society at large with the hope to replicate them at a larger scale. 

As an intern, you'll generate a communication plan and create social media content for the English-language networks of the foundation. You work will demonstrate the impact of the foundation's work in Ecuador on issues of gender-based violence and human rights.

The final product will be a dissemination and awareness campaign on the importance of community-based tools for stopping the violence and battering of people, and women in particular, in Ecuador.

Funding

You will receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses.  A portion of this award may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
