Opportunity Description

Host Organization: Universidad San Francisco de Quito

Location: Quito, Ecuador

The first private liberal arts university in the Andes, Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) is a Cornell Global Hubs partner that seeks to educate free-thinking, innovative, creative, entrepreneurial citizens. 

Opportunities are open to all Cornell undergraduate students, but may be of particular interest to those focused on business, biology, environmental sustainability, communications and public relations, technology, food science, agricultural sciences, marketing, engineering, non-governmental organizations, and university research. 

View some of the available opportunities this year at organizations, such as 2BTubeLatam, the Panamerican Development Foundation, and Liberdad para Invertir.

You'll gain valuable experience developing your intercultural competencies and fostering a more diverse community. Interns will work from early June through the end of July.

Funding

You will receive an award totaling at least $3,000 for airfare, transportation, and living expenses. A portion of that stipend may be paid directly to the in-country host to support housing, food, and local transportation.
