  • Second Year (undergrad)
  • Third Year (undergrad)
  • Fourth Year + (undergrad)

Open to:

  • Cornell Undergraduate Students
  • Cornell Graduate/Professional Students

GPA Requirements:

Minimum GPA: 2.50

What you should know before applying:

  • Cornell students from all colleges and majors are welcome to apply!
  • Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are eligible to participate.
  • An internship is required. 
  • CIW is not an internship placement program. Participants secure their own internship with assistance from CIW. 
  • Program cost, dates and deadlines.
  • Before choosing any courses, be sure to check with you advisor or department about how credits and courses will apply to your major.
  • Undergraduate participants must live in the CIW building, Wolpe Center.

Application Process:

  • Complete application: provide Academic Information; Contact Information; an Official Transcript; a Resume draft
  • Receive acceptance into the program
  • Sign "Memo of Understand" committing to the program
  • Attend Pre-Departure Meeting
  • Complete Enrollment and Housing forms
