Opportunity Description

The competitive Cornell Global Law Program in Paris combines law school experience with the chance to explore life in France.

Taught entirely in English by four members of the Cornell Law School faculty, this intensive, four-week honors program introduces advanced prelaw students to legal practice and study from an international perspective and provides mentorship for law school success.

Program features:

  • A four-credit course, LAW 4031 Introduction to the Global Study of Law
  • Introductory lectures on comparative legal study
  • Small classes focused on preparing undergraduate students for law school success
  • Optional sessions providing guidance on the law school application and admissions processes
  • Mentorship by Cornell Law School faculty
  • First-hand opportunities to explore the legal institutions and culture of France and the European Union
  • Optional French language instruction
  • Option to audit other Cornell Law School courses in Paris
