Beginning in Fall 2018, in KHMER 1100 (1 credit, 7 weeks), students will be introduced to Khmer language and culture, which will provide vital orientation for the in country experience. During the two-week in country experience, students will study on site at Angkor Wat and other sacred sites, visit villages and attend weaving workshops, observe dance classes and performances, and explore Cambodia’s National Museum. They will complete course requirements and submit final papers in the first 7 weeks of the spring semester in ARTH3856.
