Academics
The academic year at SLU consists of autumn and spring semester. The autumn semester and the spring semester are divided into periods. Often, students will take one class per period.
SLU classes offered in English
SLU does not offer any language classes, therefore CALS exchange students will be exempt from the CALS requirement to enroll in a Swedish language class.
Due to their long history cooperation, SLU and Cornell have long-standing research cooperations between faculty members. Upon their return, incoming CALS exchange students will be matched with a researcher or mentor from SLU who worked or studied at Cornell at some point.
