Opportunity Description

Study and work in the hub of French and European business and culture. Combine an 8-week internship with intensive French-language study and liberal arts courses.

  • Guaranteed, personalized internships are available in arts, business, communications, journalism, advertising, marketing, pre-law, international relations, NGOs, political science, psychology, social policy, and more.
  • After completing the program's seven-week core phase, spend the final eight weeks in full-time internships with organizations in the greater Paris area.
  • Full range of internships available for students with 4 college semesters of French or equivalent. English-speaking internships available in marketing, communications, and start-ups.

What is unique about Paris?

Boston University has been in Paris since 1989, with state-of-the-art classroom facilities near the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. French faculty from local universities teach courses in French and in English on contemporary France that are specifically designed for students in the Boston University program.

With the benefit of specially-designed classes, and a local internship, you can fully immerse yourself in this great city.

How do I apply?

Applying to study abroad is a two-step process. You may complete both steps simultaneously, but the Cornell approval process must be complete before your program advisor in the Office of Global Learning can submit any approval or nomination to the program.

  1. For Cornell Approval, click on the "Apply" button on this webpage. Applications are approved by the Office of Global Learning on a rolling basis until the application deadline listed on this page.
  2. For Program Admission, complete an external application directly on the program’s webpage, using the link in the “Snapshot” section. (Note: This deadline may be in advance of the general Cornell deadline for approval. Many programs fill by rolling admission.
