Corporate Sustainability Office
Program/Department Overview
EDF’s Director of Corporate Sustainability is part of the Corporate Services team who works with a network of colleagues and the volunteer Sustainability Council to develop, research, and implement EDF’s internal sustainability, climate, and environmental justice goals. The intern will work as a remote employee and interact primarily with the Director but will be included in meetings and communications with colleagues throughout the organization. The Director has more than ten years' experience managing sustainability intern programs on a rigorous higher education campus, is based out of Atlanta, GA, USA, and is a remote employee.
Overall Function
EDF’s Corporate Sustainability office is seeking qualified students to support the work of EDF’s own organizational goals for sustainability, climate solutions, and environmental justice. The intern will support sustainability staff and EDF’s volunteer Sustainability Council with research, benchmarking, data collection and analysis, communications, and staff outreach and engagement. Intern will produce deliverables such as research memos, case studies, and white papers and will co-author internal policies and communications pieces (articles, blog posts, and other media).
