Qualifications:

  • Current or recent Master’s level graduate student preferred.
  • Proficiency conducting research and synthesizing results.
  • Coursework, independent research, or other experience related to or experience in fisheries science, fisheries management, marine policy, climate change or related fields
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be well organized, motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and have the ability to work independently when projects are due.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness, cultural competency and inclusivity, and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.

Location: San Francisco, CA; Remote considered

Term: 10 weeks

Hours: Full-Time (35 hours per week)

Compensation: This internship will be fully funded through Cornell Atkinson; a $5,250 stipend is provided.
